The Mukeshbhai Patel Central Library, the Institute's heart, was established in 2007. Cognition leads to the generation of Knowledge. It is a well-equipped Library, Centrally located with easy access, and provides the right spur for the intellectual growth of the students, faculty, research scholars, and others. The library is the backbone of an educational institution. The well-furnished and centralized air-conditioned Mukeshbhai Patel Central Library is on the 2nd floor of the Academic building B-Wing. It is spread over 45,000 Sq.ft with a seating capacity for over 500 students. With its modern collection of knowledge resources and innovative information services, the Central Library fills an essential role for students, faculty, and others in their intellectual needs.
The Mukeshbhai Patel Central Library is not just a repository of books, but a hub of modern and innovative services. With a collection of over 34282 volumes covering a wide range of general and special subjects, the library offers textbooks, reference books, and back volumes of journals and reports, periodicals, and magazines. The Online database and CD ROM are made available through institute Wi-Fi network, allowing users to access all the e-database, e-books, and e-Journals through the institute network. The library's WEBOPAC can be accessed from any computer system on the campus Wi-Fi network. The Central Library offers a variety of information services to support the teaching and learning process, all set to the highest professional standards. The Institute's membership of DELNET, New Delhi, allows for inter Library Loan and e-database access. The Central Library has adopted an open access system, facilitating easy access to the library resources. An orientation program for new students is also organized to help them acquaint themselves with the library system and services for maximum utilization of the available resources.
The Central Library has implemented QR codes and KIOSK in the library. The library staff is constantly engaged in organizing various events such as Library workshops, Library conferences, Orientation Programs, Library Week, Librarian days, Book exhibitions, and library competitions, which help develop reading habits among students.
